Kevin Rawlinson, a director at Chambers Consultants, brings decades of expertise in geotechnical and civil engineering. His leadership has been instrumental in guiding the firm’s success on projects across New Zealand. With extensive experience in site investigations, structural analysis, and regulatory compliance, Kevin ensures each project meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Sam Bahmani

Technical Director

Sam Bahmani holds a PhD from the University of Auckland and brings over 15 years of international experience to geotechnical and civil engineering. With a portfolio spanning New Zealand and Malaysia, Sam has contributed to residential, infrastructure, tunnelling and commercial projects. His expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modelling and his use of current technologies drive efficiency, safety and innovation across the firm’s work.

Tony Smith

Principal Engineer

Tony Smith brings over 25 years of experience in land development, civil infrastructure and local government projects, having led large-scale subdivisions, transport upgrades and water infrastructure works across New Zealand. He has held senior roles with Infrastructure Development Engineering NZ, GWE, Southern Land, Envivo, Fraser Thomas Ltd and Far North District Council, bringing proven expertise in project leadership, design and construction management.
